Alternative forms of healing therapy are increasing as medical technology is advancing the science of it. One such form which may be of your interest is “light therapy”. Light therapy is a non-invasive, safe and painless treatment method for a variety of conditions including SAD and certain skin conditions. SAD stands for seasonal affective disorder and is a form of depression that hits sufferers in the winter months, which is why this condition is often called the winter blues. Experts believe this disorder may be caused by a lack of sun exposure, which can be made up for in a couple of ways.

The blind are able to enjoy creating art, the Internet, sculpting, woodworking, sports and more. There have been notable achievements for the blind including that of Erik Weihenmeyer. In 2001, he was the first blind person to climb Mt. Everest. This is something many people with full sight cannot accomplish.

Here is an example of how contacts are inserted and removed. When you visit your optometrist or ophthalmologist to be fitted for contact lenses, the doctor or staff will show you how it is done, help you practice, and give you written instructions. Be sure to listen carefully to everything they say. They have great tips for you. The instructions you receive may differ somewhat from what is presented here, but this will give you the idea of how lenses are inserted and removed.
