Motivating Activities for the Blind

There are numerous activities that can be explored specially for the blind. Recreational pursuits are just as important and fulfilling for the visually impaired as they are for those with sight. The blind are able to enjoy creating art, the Internet, sculpting, woodworking, sports and more. There have been notable achievements for the blind including that of Erik Weihenmeyer. In 2001, he was the first blind person to climb Mt. Everest. This is something many people with full sight cannot accomplish.
