Star Trek Collectibles Coming Back
Star Trek has been an on and off hit since the TV series debuted in 1967. It wasn’t until “Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan” hit the theaters in the 1980s that Star Trek made a major comeback. What followed were three hit Star Trek TV series and a slew of merchandise and toys.
The Star Trek franchise began to die down with the less than stellar performance of “Star Trek: Enterprise.” However, the upcoming Star Trek movie may change the negative tone of this famous science fiction series. The Star Trek Trailer 2009 certainly looks very exciting.
The best part for stores and Trekkies is the likely comeback of Star Trek collectibles. This usually happens after a big and highly anticipated movie or TV event. In this case, it’s the upcoming Star Trek movie which will hit the theaters on May 8, 2009.
