Gingivitis is a dental disease that involves the inflammation of the gums. Actually, it is a form of periodontal disease but considered the earlier and mild stage. Gingivitis is caused by a long-term effects of plaque deposits. This plaque which develops on the exposed areas of the teeth are consolidated food debris that are left of the teeth, mixed with saliva and bacteria. And vitamin C like citrus fruits, broccoli, potatoes can help the body repair the tissues that are damaged.
