Buying An Antique Grandfather Clock
The antique German grandfather clocks began to be seen around the 1600s throughout Germany. The way in which it was built was a direct innovation of Galileo. He saw problems with the older ways of telling time, such as through the sun dials, as it did not align with specific needs. He worked on creating a contraption that combined a gravitational pull from the pendulum to move the weight every second. He combined this with keys that were used in order to continue winding the weights so that they could keep pulling the pendulum to tell time.
