Are You A Hypermiler?
Any car driver who goes to extraordinary lengths to get the most out of every drop of gasoline falls into the category of hypermilers who practice all possible hypermiling techniques. The rationale behind hypermiling is not only to raise fuel economy but also to lower emissions. Driving in favorable wind conditions is what many hypermilers claim as a sure shot way of saving gas. Driving on a windy day may not be a good idea if you are thinking of fuel economy. Some hypermilers prefer to place cardboard over the radiator to block the wind, retain heat, and thus ensure that the engine is running at a warmer temperature especially while commuting within the city limits.
