Approved Enlightenment For PSP
Games and videos come on UMD discs that don’t work in anything else. Instead of using a accepted memory card that most people already have like SD or CF they make you buy Memory Stick Duo cards. Games and movies are limited to titles that Sony has purchased or developed, so the picking are not universal. This system is more than just a handheld game player and is not recommended for younger kids because it can easily break if dropped or misused. Games and officially licensed movies come on Sony’s proprietary UMD (Universal Media Disc) media, which are housed in protective cartridges. The UMD drive is grafted to the back of the unit; you load it and snap it shut just as you would a camcorder.
Movies UMDs however, do have regulation on region codes. An example would be, a Region 2 coded UMD movie will not be able to playback on a Region 3 PSP. Moving to [Game], I thought I could delete the 3.70 file, and quickly move onto exploring what else is new. However, on hitting [triangle] to bring up the menu…something has changed. If you want to customize the overall themes of your PSP, be sure to get some psp custom themes to really personalize your PSP.
