Firstly, with an Abeka Homeschool program, you are going to be subject to the district and state guidelines for what your children need to know. A good way to get in the know of what exactly will be expected of you and your child/children, is to hop online for the state and district standards. Whatever is listed there, will be what you are expected to include in the curriculum you teach your child/children at home. When you use an Abeka Homeschool curriculum you will still be responsible for teaching your child/children the things stated in the district standards, regardless of whether or not they are included in the Abeka Homeschool program.
