Before You Build Your Own Shed
If you are inexperienced at home construction and renovation, one of the best first projects that you can do is TO build your own shed. Unlike building a fireplace or a deck, when you design a shed, you are not adding onto existing structures. This means that the shed will not affect the overall layout of your house, so that you do not have to worry as much about getting the perfect design. It also means that any mistakes you make when you build your own shed do not affect the appearance of your house. Even if you totally fail to build your own shed, you have only temporarily spoiled the appearance of a small section of your backyard, not disfigured your living room.
