Many think that carpet is more economical overall, but when you think that the life expectancy of a reasonable carpet is between 7 and 10 years (depending on use), then is this really such good value for money?  In fact, most folks change their carpets well before they need to as they often get bored with the fabric, the pattern, or because it no longer matches with the newly decorated room(s). Hardwood floors, on the other hand, can last a lifetime if cared for properly, and are always in style and will blend in beautifully with any interior design.  Still want to buy carpet?
